This is the most versatile design of towbar because it can be used with towball mounted accessories.

The swan neck type of tow bar is more commonly used tow bar in Europe, but is becoming more popular here in the UK. The tow ball and neck is in one piece, this type of bar can look neater on the vehicle but is not as versatile as the flange type.

Only compatible with ball mounted cycle carriers, i.e. ZX200 and ZX300
When mounted to the vehicle a Detachable towbar looks similar to the fixed swan neck style tow bar. Once the neck is removed using the lockable release mechanism, generally the there is little or nothing of the towbar visible.
